WHAT IS CHAMP CAMP?
Champ Camp is an open invitation to get out and enjoy God’s great creation out on the plains like the pioneers and cowboys of old. Kids who attend get to have fun doing Cowboy/Pioneer themed activities like roping, riding, treasure hunts, gold panning, and trading their Champ Cash for unique artifacts at Champ's 3 Arrows Trading Post. It's a great time for the whole family!

WHO WOULD ENJOY CHAMP CAMP?
Of course, Champ thinks everybody would enjoy Champ Camp! All ages are welcome, but families with kids aged 3-10 seem to be the perfect fit!  At least one adult (mom, dad, grandparent, uncle or aunt) must accompany children at all times. 

WHERE IS CHAMP CAMP?
Fort Rush is a small outpost on the Colorado plains about 45 miles east of Colorado Springs. The cost of the camp site is covered by Champ, so all you need is your water, food, tent, sleeping bags etc. Camper Trailers are very welcome (no hook ups). Champ has 4 extra tents if needed, but they are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. The campsite has a nice out house.

DOES CHAMP PROVIDE FOOD? 
Meals will be up to each individual family. But remember, we don’t want the moms stuck cooking, so plan to teach your kids how to cook (several camp stoves and BarBQ grills are available).  If you’re up early, Champ will have "Gargle" ready... that’s Cowboy coffee: hot, black, and thick enough to float a six-shooter! Champ will provide plenty of drinking water, but if campers want fire water (soft drinks) or hardtack (chips and candy) they’re gonna need to work for it by earning Champ Camp Cash. Campers must pay for their snacks with their cash from the trading post. So bring something to trade or you'll need to pan for some gold!

TYPICAL CHAMP CAMP DAILY SCHEDULE
Day 1
1:00 PM Check in – Pick a site and set up your camp.  Expect afternoon showers
                 Be prepared! Water proof your tent
                 Explore and Treasure hunt - Campers earn Champ Camp Cash. 
                 Gold panning, metal detecting, rock hounding and arrowhead collecting. 
5:00 PM  Grill and Chill. 
7:30 PM   Roast some marshmallows.  I'll have plenty of wood if there's not a fire ban.
8:00 PM  Amy's Apertura - Ladies Only !!!   If ya stay up and talk, you’ll pay for it in the morning.
                 But do what you want.  

Day 2
5:00 AM You’re Burning Daylight. Champ has already had his breakfast. 
6:00 AM Official Wake-Up and Round-Up.  All Scavenger Hunts begin with Reveille.
8:00 AM Paul Bunyan Breakfast (pancakes the size of a large pond)
9:00 AM Go-Karts
10:00 AM Take the Cowboy Challenge.
                  Archery and Tomahawks, Horse Shoes, Mini Golf, Buck-n-Barrel and more. 
12:00 PM  Free Time – Plan activities on your own.
1:00 PM  Movie in the Silo
3:00 PM  Shooting at the range planned for those who pass gun safety test.
5:00 PM  CHOW and BOW  after dinner Talent Show and S’mores.
                        
Day 3
8:00 AM Official Wake-Up, Breakfast and Final Round-Up.  
9:30 ish AM or when the bell rings  Church on the Hill 
10:00 AM Saddle-Up! and sadly head for home.
